As the demand for artificial bait is on the increase, Mustad
directs huge efforts
towards development of rigs. The Norwegian best-selling
hook brand now offers a
wide range of feather traces and rigs for all types of
sea fishing.
The current stock programme contains more than
40 different patterns. Another 20
new types are being realised in the 2004 program, including
new patterns for the
following bestsellers:
Mackerel and Cod Feather Traces
Universal rigs for mackerel, pollack, coalfish and cod. They come with either
mixed
coloured feathers or plain white feathers. The Mackerel and Cod feather traces
are
available in 3 and 6-hook versions, sizes 3/0 or 6/0.

Shrimp Bait Rigs
A basic rig for mackerel, herring, sand eels and black bream. Ideal for catching
baitfish. The rig’s tail and body are fluorescent for extra attraction.
Shrimp bait rigs
are currently available in 4 and 5 hook versions, size 4.

Hokkai Tempter Rigs
Has already proved to be Mustad’s no. 1 selling rig.
These rigs are effective for wreck pollack, as well as
for coalfish in deep waters. We can also recommend it as
an all-round rig for mackerel and general bottom fishing.
Hokkai tempter rigs come in 6 versions of 3-hook traces
in sizes 4/0 and 6/0.
