Brauer's Team Up to Promote Expanded Mustad Product Range

Mustad, the world's best-selling brand of fish hooks, announced today that Denny and Chad Brauer have expanded their role on the Mustad pro-staff to include promotion of Mustad's new range of premium monofilament and pheromone fish attractant.
According to Bob Funk, Vice President of Sales & Marketing, Denny has played an integral role on Mustad's pro-staff since 1993. “Denny was one of our original pro-staff members and has played an instrumental role in the development and promotion of our Ultra Point® bass hook range. So of course, we are thrilled to have two of today's hottest pros using and supporting new Ultra Line™ and Ultrabite™ as well, ” commented Mr. Funk.
Over the last decade, Mustad has been working with pro-staff members to implement an aggressive new product development program to meet the needs of local sport fishing anglers in the US and around the world. Denny Brauer noted, “Here's a company that is really in touch with the market and is willing to listen and respond to our needs.” While Mustad Ultra Line and Ultrabite have been successfully marketed in Europe for years, Funk added, “Mustad does its homework locally. Two years of on-the-water testing of Ultra Line and Ultrabite in the US have helped us refine these products to meet our market needs. The reception has been terrific with significant placement in independents, regional and national chains.” Both Denny and Chad agree, “You know when they put the Mustad name on it— it's as good as it gets.”
In addition to fishing with Mustad's Ultra Point hooks, Chad and Denny Brauer will begin using new Mustad Ultra Line and Ultrabite competitively starting with the next Bassmaster® Tour tournament on Lake Guntersville on February 24-27, 2005 .
