I caught the coalfish ( sei) in Kabelvag ( Lofoten) at my friend Arnstein Larsen's place  www.lofoten-rorbuferie.no the first week of august I was using a very thin rod a 12lbs ugly stik rod a zebco boca reel with 17/00 fireline grey line and a 80 gr. leadhead and a 15 cm profiblinker shad with a Mustad 34007 hook on it. The fish was hooked at 80 meters of water, but like a train it went to 110 meters and it was really the best fight with coalfish I ever have had. It took me 29 minutes to land it That day I caught 9 coalfish of more than 15 kilo. Also nice cod up to 22kilos.
