I am a professional guide who specializes in river fishing for Salmon and Steelhead in Northern California and Alaska . Your new 92604 Fine Wire Hooks are awesome, and have led to a lot more fishing time and less down time on my boat. The hooks are super lite and do not get hung up on the bottom, while side-drifting for Steelhead, as frequently as your competitors' models.

The nice thing is when the hook does get stuck on a rock or other snag; you can put just enough pressure on the hook to bend it, releasing it from the snag without breaking your leader. The amount of pressure we put on snags, you would never put on a fish. As a result, I have yet to bend a hook while fighting a fish and landed two Steelhead this season over 20lbs using the size 6.

I am really looking forward to using the size 8s while bead fishing on the Kenai River this year for giant Rainbow Trout. I have given the 92604s to a handful of my fellow guides and they are impressed as well.
