Hello everyone, weather here at the bank is beautiful. Flat seas, overcast skies, and a bit warm today. Today was the first day of the trip that you could wear shorts. The bank had lots of life today, with Yellowfin putting on their aerial display. We never moved the boat, with steady action on the Yellowfin. Most of the Yellowfin were in the 110 to 130 pound range, with a few going to 170 pounds . Our hook to catch ratio on the kite has increased, since we have been using the Mustad 39960 size 20/0 circle hook. The Wahoo made a brief showing today, with most of them coming on bait. So today was a good day, with great weather, good fishing and the Clipperton jungle juice. We pulled our anchor at 18:30 (6:00 p.m.) and it only took 20 minutes to make a tank of flyers. So with the life on the bank, we are hoping for an even better day tomorrow, so wish us luck and we will report back tomorrow. The R/p crew.
