The Championship was held in the Liptosky Mikulas area close
to the Tatras Mountains in Slovakia. This area has an abundance
of trout and grayling, and fly-fishermen from 23 countries
took part in the event. They caught a total of 6256 fish during
the 3 days of the contest. Most teams were test fishing for
week before the contest started. There were no fish over 20
cm.
Most of the fish were caught on micro nymphs tied on Mustad
Signature C49S,
R50,
R70
in sizes 15 – 20.

Sovakia won, the Czech Republic took
2nd place and France 3rd place in the contest.
